Full day cruise | Thursday | Time: 09:00 - 17:30
Our cruise begins from Argostoli city and our first destination is the area with the local fish farms, where we sail around them looking for dolphins, seals & sea turtles.
We know that especially dolphins like to look at us through the glass bottom or they like to swim in our bow wave.
We continue cruising very close to the coastline, we pass the Lighthouse of St. Theodore (Fanari) and from this point we start to sail on shallow waters where we can admire the view of the seabed.
After the the point of "Mediterranee Hotel", we put the engines down over the reefs and the view becomes more interesting. After the White Rocks area with its majestic white sand, we visit the "Murderess" reef, next to "St. Nicholas" Island where we can view an ancient shipwreck with her cargo of amphorae.
Continuing our cruise, we sail to the uninhabited island of Vardiani (Rabbit Island). There, Captain Makis will throw two bottles of wine into the sea for wine diving (masks, snorkels, flippers and wetsuits, life jackets for none swimmers will be provided). Captain Makis will tell you the history of the island and a bit later we sail to "Xi" beach for Captain Makis' famous barbeque.
Here we enjoy volleyball in the water, mud baths, swimming, sunbathing, (parasols are included), BBQ, wine, sGreek salad, bread and fresh fruit. If requested in advance, vegetarian options can be available.
Ar around 4pm we leave the beach and set our return-way back with Karaoke songs and again looking for the dolphins before arriving at our base the port of Argostoli at 5.30pm apprx.
