Ithaca Cruise
Join us to our 2 great itinireries
Starting point: Agia Efimia port
Our day begins with a beautiful bus ride through the mountains and into the port of “Agia Efimia". Once there, we board our cruise boat "Romantika 2” and Captain Makis sets off, heading north and leaving the strait between Ithaka and Kefalonia to begin our cruise.
*In some occasions we may also have a little stop at Fiscardo bay to collect more passengers.
The Captain, sets course towards our first destination - the beautiful bay of “Gidaki” at Ithaka for 40' for the first swim stop of the day, diving from the boat.
Then, we cruise towards the capital of Ithaka - "Vathi". There, we have our 1st land stop to take a stroll around, visit some sights, shop, enjoy the views and perhaps have a coffee.
After our time in Vathy we board again steering north to the enchanting “Kioni bay” for our 2nd land stop. There we can spend our time exploring the village, enjoying the majestic views and perhaps even have lunch.
Afterwards we cruise toward the beautiful bay of “Gidaki” - where we have our second swim stop of the day.
Once our time there is over, we start our journey back, all the way around the southern tip of Ithaka and then we steer towards the bay & port of “Agia Efimia”.
The buses will be waiting for us there to drive us back to our resorts.

Starting point: Skala village
Our cruise starts at 9:00am from the village of “Skala”. In about 80 minutes we reach the (only by boat accessible) bay/beach of "Gidaki" with the amazing aquamarine waters & golden sand for our 1st swim stop of the day.
After about 30' there, we set a course for the capital of Ithaca, the stunning little town of "Vathi".
Entering the bay of Vathi we can see the charming little islet of "Lazareto" which has on top of i the church of "Sotiros" (Saviour), and then once we disembark, we have an 1h30' to wander around the town, have a drink to the cafés along the waterfront, maybe do a little shopping and explore the many interesting points of the town.
For our second land stop, we head towards the "Kioni" bay/ village where we stay for about 90'. Kioni is an enchanting & quiet picturesque port, one of Ithaca's most beautiful villages that as a settlement has also been classified as preserved. At the entrance of the bay - up on the hills - we can even admire the 3 derelict windmills.
Later on, after our wonderful time in “Kioni”, we start again for our 2nd and last swim stop in the secluded beach of "Koutsoupia" in Kefalonia which many people refer to as "Mini Myrtos".
"Koutsoupia" with the crystal clear waters in tones of blue & emerald as well as with the all-green landscape of the background is a magical place to be.
Once our time in this amazing beach is up, we board our boat once again for our trip back to Skala.
