Elvira our guide and Andreas the driver were both great, Andreas clearly a very skilled driver and Elvira's knowledge about Cephalonia was top notch. I was on the Kefalonia island tour with the romanian guide Valentin, we had time to visit and relax and also he took us to a great restaurant near Assos (photo of the caprese salad)! It was very well organised and Elvera the tour guide was excellent. Friendly and informative and we enjoyed the telling of the story of Odysseus. Photo opportunity looking over myrtos, Assos, Fiscardo, Agia effimia, melissani cave/ lake and Drogorati cave and a boutique selling locals goods, honey, soaps, etc I would highly recommend anyone staying in kephalonia to book this tour with KCG.... Our driver Andrea's was a very experienced driver and our tour guide was the amazing Elvira. Elvira's knowledge was impeccable and her approachable nature truly made the experience even more wonderful. Id left an item of clothing at the restaurant in Agia effimia but this didnt get past Elvira....and it was waiting for me when I returned to the coach. We had a wonderful full day out. Ithaka is a really pretty quiet island. Beautiful sea swim at Gidaki then met up with the guests who were on the coach only tour at Kioni for lunch. Skill full driving from George and a wealth of knowledge and history from Despina. Would highly recommend this tripPosted on TripadvisorVerified Excellent Full Day Tour of Kefalonia Lovely full day touring the island in a comfortable air conditioned coach. The tour guide spoke perfect English and had a good sense of humour. The lunch stop was perfect in a lovely little fishing harbour. The only bad point was the guy who picked us up from outside hotel said that we were not on his list! I went into a slight panic as he drove off to park further up the road to pick up some people who were thankfully late. I ran after the minibus to as him whether he would double check, he apologised and. We were let on! Not a great start but the rest of it made up for the transfer bus driver mistake
